Dental Assisting provides students with the skills to be a valued professional as part of the dental healthcare team. It is a nine-month, full-time major available to an adult student with a high school diploma or GED, clear certified background check, immunization record with TB results.

The Dental Hygiene program provides students with the skills to provide preventative and therapeutic oral health services as a valued member of the dental team. It is a two-year, full-time, Bachelor of Science degree program conducted in collaboration with the University of Oklahoma, College of Dentistry. The dental hygiene student attends real-time lectures at the technology center with OU faculty members. Clinical experiences occur in the WTC dental hygiene clinic with clinical instructors providing chair-side instruction. Upon successful completion of the B.S. degree, the National Dental Hygiene Examination, the Western Regional Clinical Board and the Oklahoma Jurisprudence Exam, the graduate will be a licensed dental hygienist in the state of Oklahoma.
